Free screening of ‘Unplanned’ set for March 28 in Batesville

“Abortion can never, on its face, be safe, because, in order for an abortion to be deemed successful, an individual and unique human being with a beating heart must die. That can never be safe for that individual human life.”

Those are words spoken matter-of-factly by Abby Johnson, former abortion-center director turned pro-life advocate as she testified recently in favor of Kentucky Senate Bill 9, aka the “fetal heartbeat bill.”

Johnson spent eight years at the Planned Parenthood facility but, after she witnessed an abortion on ultrasound, her perspective forever changed.

Her story is being told in the movie “Unplanned,” and the Alpha Center will host a FREE preview in Batesville on Thursday, March 28, at AMC Classic Batesville 7 (also known as The Oaks 7).

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movie begins at 7.

We’d like to thank our generous supporters for making this free screening possible.

Because of the graphic depiction of an abortion on ultrasound, “Unplanned” is rated R.

Viewing the abortion depicted in the movie turned Johnson’s heart toward protecting the unborn, and our prayer is that it will do the same for the millions of Americans who watch the film.
